02.19.2004 // SWEETHEARTS OF THE BLUES

Denise Sullivan has written a biography on our dynamic duo entitled "The White Stripes - Sweethearts of the Blues": It is a fine read, with lots of great pictures of Jack during his stint in The Go and 2 Star Tabernacle, among some more recent photos. It also features interviews with people like Johnny Walker, Ben Swank, Oliver Henry, Holly Golightly and others. To order this book, click here.

Also, if you head on over to Triple Tremelo, Lennat has a contest going on where you could win your very own copy of "Sweethearts of the Blues". Good luck!

02.09.2004 // WHAT A PERFORMANCE! / DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO

Congratulations to the band for winning two Grammys. The White Stripes won for Best Alternative Album (Elephant) and Best Rock Song (Seven Nation Army). They also performed a rocking version of Seven Nation Army that morphed into Death Letter off of the album De Stijl. The performance was perfection and Death Letter was a nice surprise!

01.30.2004 // IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN... DOWNLOADS UPDATED

Pure magic. That is the only way I can describe the two Peel Sessions that the White Stripes did. I have not listened to every live show the band has ever done, but, I have listened to quite a lot. These two performances are the best of the best, in my opinion. These were recorded before the major hype, before Fell In Love With A Girl opened the flood gates. It does not get much better than this. Find the time to add these two gems to your live collection, you will not be disappointed. To download these two shows, click here.

A new video will be available soon for download, as will a new interview.
