07.31.2007 // HARP MAGAZINE

Jack and Meg are featured on the cover of this month's issue of Harp Magazine. Here is a snippet of the interview inside:

"Jack has given up Detroit to live in Nashville. He has a family and a yard and seems happy. He works hard. He has imported not just Meg, with whom is he is rehearsing for the next White Stripes tour (Meg, too, has shuffled out of the Motor City and now calls L.A. home), but also his other band, the Raconteurs, who are rehearsing for a new record and tour."

07.24.2007 // BOSTON SHOW REVIEW

Check out this review from last night's show from Boston.com:

"Either they turned off the air conditioning at the Agganis Arena last night or the White Stripes were just that hot.

Whatever the source of the humidity, Detroit rock royalty Jack and Meg White used it to their advantage to replace the impersonal hockey rink vibe with a boisterious, close-quarters club feel. (The general admission floor, where people were very well behaved, helped, too.)"

07.19.2007 // BAND MERCHANDISE INFORMATION

Taken from the official White Stripes newsletter:

"Hello,

The White Stripes celebrated their aluminum anniversary on the 14th of July in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. To further commemorate this occasion, the band have produced an array of specialty merchandise including traditional kilts, balmoral hats, kilt hose and flashes. These items are all hand-made from the Official Tartan of The White Stripes, available in both hunting and dress fabric.

Rob Jones also designed a beautiful poster for the Savoy Theatre performance. One hundred posters were printed on paper while another one hundred were printed on sheets of aluminum.

The band have lots of other new and exciting things on the way - be sure to visit the merch table when you come see them play!

07.16.2007 // CANADIAN TOUR SUCCESS

Today the White Stripes end their successful run in Canada. The tour was a huge success and it appears Jack and Meg had a blast! The most exciting part of this was their side shows that popped up from time to time with the last one being earlier today. Jack and Meg played one note in St. Johns at the George Street Stage. A rockin' one note it was! This You Tube video from earlier today appears to be shot right after wildly successful one note.

Get ready Portland, Maine, Jack and Meg are headed your way!

Oh, and here's another review from the recent show in Halifax.
