Well, I finally got around to
adding a new section of the website.
The lyrics
section is now live. You will
notice there are a couple of songs
that have not been deciphered
yet. I feel this a very important
part of the website, and i hope
you all find it useful. As time
permits I am going to get the
Equipment and Past Bands pages
up and running. Those two pages
require a bit of research as I
want to be sure all the info is
accurate. Or you know, Jack, if
you are really bored you can email
me and let me know what kind
of equipment you use. Oh, and
in case anyone forgot, Elephant
will be in our hands soon enough.

STRIPES

The
fine folks at JustConcerts.com
are streaming the live White Stripes
show from June 9th, 2002. The show
was held in Vancouver at the Commodore
Ballroom. If you dig only the best
sounding live shows I don't think
you wil be dissapointed as the sound
is close to stellar. Anyways, you
probably want me to shut up so you

Coachella
Valley Music and Arts Festival
in Indio, California on April
27th. They will also be playing
Warfield in San Francisco on April
28th and 29th Tickets go onsale

ELEPHANT NEWS / RELEASE DATE PUSHED

The
anticipation is mounting isn't it?
The brand new album will be in our
hands shortly. Well, actually sooner
than we expected. Elephant has been
pushed up to April 1st here in the
US, March 31st in the UK and March
19th over in Japan. According to
Ben Blackwell, there will be six
different album covers.
Heard the 1st single, Seven Nation
Army yet? Well if your radio station
isn't playing it you can always
stream the station 97X
here in Cincinnati. They are now
playing it in heavy rotation. So
make your ears happy, tune in!
Finally, according to NME.com,
the band played a small set at the
Electric Cinema in west London on
February 7th. They played In My
Time Of Dying (Zeppelin cover),
Blackjack Davey (covered by Dylan,
among others), You've Got Her In
Your Pocket, In The Cold, Cold Night
(Meg on vocals) and Hotel Yorba.

Some people may think it's minor.
But the cover art of any record
is important. At least to me it
is. It is nice to see a band take
the time to give you the complete
package when releasing a record.
I bet the vinyl version is going
to be stellar. Anyways, for your

to the official site, the White
Stripes are playing four dates in
Europe in mid April. They are as
follows:
April 7th: Wolverhampton (Civic)
April 8th: Manchester (Apollo)
April 10th: Glasgow (Academy)
April 11th: London (Brixton Academy)
April 12th: London (Brixton Academy)
If you plan on going to these shows
I would advise you to get your tickets
ASAP, as they surely sell fast!
