The White Stripes played the last of their four LA shows on 8.18 and what a show it was! The setlist was truly amazing as they played as many songs as they could. It appears Jack and Meg premiered the new video for the single, My Doorbell on Nickelodeon tonight. Yes, that Nickelodeon. Per Billboard.com:

"The White Stripes have made an unlikely teaming with Nickelodeon to premiere the video for the group's new single, "My Doorbell." The clip will debut tonight (Aug. 19) at 9 p.m., prior to a new episode of the series "Girls vs. Boys." It is also available for streaming on the Stripes' official Web site ."

Last year, on March 17th, Bob Dylan played a concert in Detroit and during the encore he was joined by Jack on the White Stripe's track, Ball and Biscuit. I had the song up for download after the performance and took it down a month or so later. I get emails all the time asking for that performance, so here you go. For those who have not heard this, head on over to the downloads page to grab your copy.

The current show (Atlanta) on the downloads page will not be up much longer. So, grab while you still can. A better sounding live show to be determined will be up in it's place very soon.

MTV.com has an article on the upcoming music video for My Doorbell, the 2nd single off Get Behind Me Satan:

" On July 26 and 27, the Stripes and a lot of their little pals took over the Magic Castle to shoot a 1940s-inspired video for "My Doorbell," the second single off Get Behind Me Satan. Working with the Malloys (Black Eyed Peas' "Don't Phunk With My Heart," Jack Johnson's "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing"), the Stripes were decked out in thick, pinstriped suits and performed in the Castle's "Parlour of Prestidigitation" for a somewhat captive audience of 2- to 6-year-olds, some of whom actually joined the band onstage."
