03.22.06 // NEW DOWNLOADS JUST FOR YOU

I have a couple of new downloadable treats for your listening and/or viewing pleasure. I've added the Raconteurs music video for their debut single, Steady, As She Goes. Keep in mind this was taken from an MTV2 broadcast, but the quality is good. Also, I have a great sounding White Stripes show from 12.06.01. The Show was held at the Forum in London. Enjoy!

03.18.06 // LA TIMES ARTICLE

Robert Hilburn wrote a great article in the LA Times on Jack and his current band, The Raconteurs:

"There's a lot that's new in Jack White's life as he walks into the den of his new house on a street that has served as home for such rebels as Hank Williams and George Jones. The White Stripes leader has a new wife, a new band and, in May, he's due to become a new father.

The house makes sense. White was starting to feel a bit claustrophobic back home in Detroit, where he had lived all his 30 years. It was hard to go anywhere without someone coming up with a few words (or more) of advice or criticism."

There is a lot more to read this article, so check it all out here. I will also be adding this to the articles section of this website.

Finally, I am having a small technical glitch getting up the new downloads. I should have the problem worked out soon and when I do, I am going to put up a full White Stripes show as well as the Raconteurs video for the single Steady, As She Goes.

"Ladies and gentleman, it's our pleasure to reveal another addition to the Guerilla Gig Live line-up. Put your hands together for... The Raconteurs ! For those not in the know, The Raconteurs consist of White Stripes frontman Jack White (oh yes!) and his mate Detroit songsmith Brendan Benson, with their friends Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler on bass and drums respectively. We're properly excited about having the Raconteurs on board. Especially since this will be their UK TV DEBUT!! The live pilot of Guerilla Gig Live will be shown on March 31st at 11pm, so make sure you tune in to see Jack, Brendan, Jack and Patrick doing their thing on British telly!"

03.03.06 // JACK LEAVES US ANOTHER MESSAGE

Mr. White sure is chatty these days. He has left another message for us all over at the official website. Check it out.

Jack and Meg are currently in Japan wrapping up the Get Behind Me Satan tour. I guess it's time to put the album to sleep. Thanks for another amazing tour and album!

Finally, a new download is still on the agenda. Just trying to figure out what exactly to put up. Stay tuned.
