VOTW: THE WHITE STRIPES LIVE ON THE LATE SHOW W/ DAVID LETTERMAN
In honor of David Letterman's final Late Show, this week's Video of the Week is going all the way back to March 18, 2002. Jack and Meg appear as the musical guest performing Fell in Love with a Girl/Little Room. I remember staying up till almost 12:30 to finally see them on late night American television. See kids, this was back in a time before recording television programming was a pain in the neck. Enjoy!
AMERICAN EPIC, FROM T-BONE BURNETT, ROBERT REDFORD AND JACK WHITE
Who would have ever expected that the young musician T-Bone Burnett selected to sing a couple of songs on the Cold Mountain soundtrack twelve years ago would end up working with not only Burnett but also Robert Redford, sharing producing credit for a massively important project like American Epic?
A three-part documentary and feature-length film of the recording sessions coming this fall on PBS and BBC Arena, as well as a deluxe boxed vinyl set from Third Man Records. Join us in the Little Room to share your thoughts and keep up-to-date on the latest news about this exciting project.

VOTW: THE WHITE STRIPES GOIN' BACK TO MEMHIS, SPACELAND 2001
In honor of Jack playing Goin' Back To Memphis last night at the Lollapalooza fest in Santiago, Chile, this week's Video of the Week goes all the way back to 2001 when the White Stripes dropped that tune into Let's Build a Home at Spaceland in California.
VOTW: ELVIS PRESLEY'S MY HAPPINESS = RECORD STORE DAY HAPPINESS!!!
This week's Video of the Week isn't a song written or performed by Jack, but it's one that all Third Man fans should be excited about. A cover story in the current issue of Billboard magazine (on newsstands March 10th or buy it here) has revealed that, in a mystery-charged manner that only he could pull off, Jack won the January 8th auction of Elvis Presley's very first recording, a song called My Happiness, backed with That's When Your Heartache Begins. Think Jack's bid of $300,000 was extravagant? Well, you might, if it hadn't also been revealed that he plans to share this special record with all the rest of us music lovers. On Record Store Day, Third Man will release a limited recreation of the original Elvis single on a 10" 78rpm single. Then, later in the year, they will issue a re-mastered 7" 45rpm single to wide release. Who couldn't be happy about that?
